Hi, I am Violet Guo! I am an end-to-end UX designer based in NYC.

I have worked for companies including WeWork, Tommy John, Ascensia Diabetes Care, Giant Eagle and more.

Before I became a Product/UX designer, I majored in Chemical Engineering and Math. My analytical background allows me to identify barriers to a solution quickly. Such experience also makes me an efficient communicator with people from different backgrounds. I had always appreciated good designs around me, like a multi-usage backpack or a vintage lamp. It wasn’t until I heard “Design Thinking” the first time from a class my master's program offers that I could also impact people’s daily lives through design. My graduate school coursework at Carnegie Mellon University - Integrated Innovation Institute has prepared me with the skills needed to solve deep-rooted problems.
